do you read for fun?

I did not always love to read. All throughout elementary school my parents would read chapter books to me aloud so that I could then write a book report about it. At that time reading seemed utterly boring, until I found a book that I was truly interested in. When I was in 6th grade I picked up a copy of Nancy Drew: The Secret of the Old Clock, and I was hooked! I began flying through books intrigued to see how things would end, and discover who was behind the mystery. I haven't stopped reading since! To this day I still love reading mystery novels.

I recently bought myself a Kindle Paperwhite, and y’all I have started reading so much more! I carry it almost everywhere with me. So in moments that I would normally pull out my phone to scroll around on it I now pull out my kindle and read. It’s still screen time, but it feels like better screen time for me.
